And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ

Jon Jones, Enhancement Drugs and Transhumanism

Sigh, so the news cycle will be dominated with reports on Jon Jones UFC 214 Light Heavy Weight Champion being stripped of his newly won title...again. Disappointing I know, but this issue of drugs, sports and human enhancement won't go away. TMZ reported that the drug found in Jones system was called Turninabol,

"Jon Jones has tested positive for steroids in his UFC 214 victory over Daniel Cormier, and he has been stripped of his title ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Our sources tell us ... Jones tested positive for Turinabol -- an anabolic steroid. " (TMZ)

Now I looked up Turinabol the alleged drug. Interestingly the history on this drug goes back to the Cold War era and has quite the scandalous history to boot.

"Oral Turinabol was first released by Jenapharm out of East Germany in 1962. The steroid would enjoy a very high safety rating for decades not only among men but in women and even children in a therapeutic setting. This steroid was proven to be very effective in the effort to build or protect lean mass and bone mass without severe complications. However, Oral Turinabol would gain worldwide attention in the 1990’s when the East German steroid scandal became public knowledge.

From 1974 to 1989 what would be known as the East German Doping Machine had been successful in administering anabolic steroids to its Olympic athletes. Not only were they cheating but they were getting away with it as steroids like Oral Turinabol were, at the time, undetectable. State Plan Research Theme 14.25 as it was officially known would also make use of epitestosterone during this period in order to skew testosterone readings in drug testing.

When Oral Turinabol was discovered as being an integral part of the East German scandal Jenapharm would discontinue the product in 1994. Two years later the pharmaceutical powerhouse out of Germany Schering, makers of such steroids as Primobolan, Testoviron and Proviron would acquire Jenapharm but chose not to bring Oral Turinabol back to the market. Since that time this anabolic steroid has never been manufactured by a true pharmaceutical compounding entity and has become a strictly black market underground anabolic steroid." (Steriods.com)

Of particular note is the bottom statement that says, "become a strictly black market underground anabolic steroid." Jones is being stripped of his belt, because an illegal black market manufactured drug that has figured into a decade's worth of sports scandals was found in his system. It just goes to show that no matter the stakes and the potential consequences the temptation to cheat and gain a completive edge will exist.

Let's face it, human enhancement will always be a temptation. What I find fascinating about anti-doping regulators and anti-doping laws in sports, is they run counter to the globalist agenda of transhumanism. Google technocrat Ray Kurzweil famously said,

“Most of the complexity of a human neuron is devoted to maintaining its life-support functions, not its information-processing capabilities. Ultimately, we will be able to port our mental processes to a more suitable computational substrate. Then our minds won’t have to stay so small.”
― Ray Kurzweil, The Singularity is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology

Ultimately all of the societal trends towards modification we see today stem from this elitist philosophy as stated above by Kurzweil. Their thinking is the human body is not evolved enough, and technology will give us a better medium for consciousness. Whether true or not, that is what they are pushing for, radical transformation of the human body and also human consciousness. You would think they would be huge opponents of athletic drug testing. After all they are just trying to push the limits of human potential right?

It is not just athletes that want to modify their body through drugs and technology. Look at the corporate world, it is now popular among trendy, Silicon Valley technocrats to microdose themselves on acid to achieve an intellectual and creative edge in the IT world.

"Microdosing is trendy. From Waldman’s 2016 book and media tour, to coverage at Marie Claire and The New Yorker, to fodder for podcasts geared toward self-described psychonauts and psychedelic-naive laypeople alike, to how-to manuals and private “microdosing coaching” sessions at $97 a pop, low-dose psychedelic use has become the drug fad du jour. The subscribers on a Reddit forum devoted to microdosing nearly quintupled in the span of a year and a half, as Wired noted last summer. Then, there were 7,500 members. The forum has doubled in size in the year since then." (The Verge)

Yet you don't see regulators cracking down on engineers, or creative's who are using drugs to gain a competitive edge in their fields. It is only in sports that we see this happening, for now at least. I predict that these anti-doping agencies will eventually be phased out considering that their existence stands in the way of an elitist goal of radical modification of the human species. So every other human being in the very near future will be getting Elon Musk, Neuralink Brain Chips and other technological enhancements to extend their lives, but hey, not the athletes, they must reside in the current human form in order to keep sports competitive and fair. For our entertainment of course.

Conclusion

The hypocrisy is palpable on this issue. Every other person on the planet is being encouraged to radically modify their bodies and brains. From disgusting transgender operations, aborting babies out of convenience to microdosing it is all fair game, but athletes cannot. What is even the point anymore, it is obvious that mankind is slated by the globalists for a radical overhaul. The sports world is like any other world, there will always be people trying to game the system. In fact that can be the universal overarching battle cry of the technocratic elite, they want to game the system that God has created. They hate God, they don't like to think we were created in God's image, they truly think through their own ingenuity they will come up with a better vehicle than the human body, and they think they can control the direction and next evolutionary leap of our species. It is just a matter of time before the technocrats start arguing in favor of drug enhancement or even technological enhancements in sports. They want so bad to drive humanity into this very dark dystopian future it really is just a matter of time before we start to see this debate happen within the sports worlds. In this brave new world there is no room for human purist. Please support Wake the Church through the purchase of our film Christ Alone

As someone who is radically opposed to modification of any kind whether humans, our food, or our environment I am conflicted by this story. I hate government regulation and overreach into any industry or sport, but at the same time how do you prevent people from modifying themselves to the point of radical transformation. It all just seems like a lose, lose for humanity and no matter what we do the devil and his spiritual forces pushing this agenda of transformation will ultimately win out. They did it in Genesis 6 and they will do it now with the aid of technology and drugs in the next 100 years without question. The future of humanity will be split into two factions, those who will embrace modification and those who will refuse it. I am one who will refuse it. Humanity in my mind will never have the moral fortitude to not abuse technology, and most likely those who embrace transhuman technologies will persecute all those that don't. God made us to be fragile and die, it tests our character, and gives meaning to each moment in our lives. I think human-kind would be abominable without suffering, trials and death more so than we already are. I hope these trials in Jon Jones life eventually produce the character necessary to become a true champion which is much more than just beating people up with the aid of enhancement drugs.
