Atheist Groups have gone too Far with their Attacks on the Religious

There is nothing more contemptible then to attack people on the basis of their religion

The battle between those that believe there to be a God and those that don't is getting more heated everyday. Nothing exemplifies the animosity better than a recent report where the American Humanist Association threatened legal action against the city because they gave permission to a family of a dead teen to erect a cross at the place of his death.

"A grieving family has taken down a cross that served as a memorial after an atheist group argued for its removal.

A cross was put up shortly after 19-year-old Anthony Devaney was fatally struck by a car in Lake Elsinore, Calif. It was removed, and a new cross went up in its place.

The American Humanist Association sent a letter to the city and threatened more legal action, saying the Latin cross is a religious symbol that violates the Constitution."

This is one of numerous examples of groups such as the American Humanist Association using the courts to stifle the free speech and exercise of religion in America.

No matter what your thoughts are on God and the afterlife this act by this bigoted, hateful group has to be at the top of the list for most disrespectful and dishonorable things a group can do against a grieving family. Using government to assault people is no different than using a weapon or your fists, and they should be totally ashamed and publicly ridiculed for acting in such an Un-American fashion. The First Amendment is absolutely clear,

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

When it comes to the sensitive matters of what people hold to in the way of religious beliefs the law of the land says the government must stay completely out of it. The argument that we must purge all traces of religious artifacts, monuments, history, literature and historic landmarks because of the "separation of church and state" is fundamentally a communist idea and has no merit under our Constitution. The recent attempt to ban the confederate flag even has well known liberals like Ed Shultz arguing against it. By erecting a cross at a accident site the state is not trying to establish a religion, only aiding a tax paying citizen in commemorating a life.

For the American Humanist Association to argue that a "Latin cross is a religious symbol that violates the Constitution" as they stated is ridiculous. One could easily turn around and say by taking down the cross and erecting nothing in it's place is a forced Atheist religious observance and that too violates the Constitution because Atheists believe in nothing. It is asinine and totally absurd to utilize such reasoning to bludgeon a grieving family.

Putting the Smack Down on Uppity Atheists

An incredible ruling from a New Jersey State Superior Court Judge David F. Bauman slammed the American Humanist Association and a student that sued the school because they had to hear 'under God' in the Pledge of Allegiance. The judge beautifully laid out his reasoning as to why he ruled against the student,

“As a matter of historical tradition, the words ‘under God’ can no more be expunged from the national consciousness than the words ‘In God We Trust’ from every coin in the land, than the words ‘so help me God’ from every presidential oath since 1789, or than the prayer that has opened every congressional session of legislative business since 1787,” Bauman wrote in his decision.

“The pledge of allegiance, in this historical context, is not to be viewed, and has never been viewed, as a religious exercise,” Bauman wrote. Instead, the judge said, it was meant to promote the “core values of duty, honor, pride and fidelity to country on which the social contract between the United States and its citizens is ultimately based.”

This judge should be commended, especially when we consider how Obama has used the highest position in the land to provide political cover to such groups going after business owners, military personnel, teachers and more over these last seven years.

We are all going to die. Period.

Let's face it none of us are getting out of here alive, every single person that reads this article is waiting for the last day they draw breath on this planet. The way a person comes to terms with this reality whether through a spiritual belief or the lack thereof is ultimately the most personal and sober decision any person will make over the course of their lifetime. There is nothing more vile and juvenile than to attack people on how they choose to face their own death or mark the deaths of loved ones. This kind of nonsense if allowed to continue will be the death of our country, if it isn't dead already.

To all the slavish, New World Order atheist foot soldiers who have made it their hobby to attack people on how they choose to face death you might as well be smacking little babies and pushing elderly women down the stairs. Having a perspective and conviction on how we die is the most noble and courageous thing we can do to prepare for our death and it should be celebrated, lauded, and encouraged not used to foment more hate. Even if you believe it to be total fantasy, just shut up and know death is a scary concept and people have the right to face that however they wish.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. Proverbs 14:32

    You Too Can Be Saved

Salvation is submission to the authority of our Creator God. To be saved simply call upon the name of Jesus. Ask Him to lead, guide and direct you to a full knowledge of who He is, and who you are in Him.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13
