The Sin of Pride
If you are thinking, transgenderism, sodomy, murder, rape, is the most hated among all sins by God you would be wrong. Why? Because God tells us Himself that the most hated of sins is spiritual pride. Believing yourself to be some special, anointed, prophetic gift to the world, places you squarely in the cross-hair's of God's wrath. God hates the sin of pride, it goes before all others.
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19
You see how that works? A Proud look, begets lying, shedding of innocent blood, devises wicked imaginations, mischief, commits false witness and spreads discord. All of that stems from a prideful heart. It is ABOMINATION. Take special note that this list didn't mention the crime of murder, Why? Because murder is the child of pride, as is rape or any other horrible thing under the sun mankind commits daily.
The seed of pride becomes the root for every other sin. Pride allows for violence, hate, vindictiveness, aggression, lies, backbiting and more. Think about it, to lie about someone's character, to plot their destruction, and actively work towards their ruin means you believe yourself to be far superior to them. Pride is a controlling sin, it places people underneath you, dehumanizes and generalizes giving rise to rationalizations towards hate. It is disgusting to God.
Pride, is the devil's sin (Ezekiel 28:14-15, Isaiah 14:12-15). Pride takes root in a person's life by habitually thinking contemptuously about other people. It happens in the heart and our minds, it is a spiritual sin and God hates spiritual sins because the spiritual sin then manifest as real life sin if left unchecked. In fact pride is especially hideous because it also craves power. Power that can exploit, or exercise your will over another's. Listen to how Satan talked to himself in the innermost space of his heart, God seeing all reveals to us how the inner dialog left un-checked can lead to unfathomable rationalizations towards evil.
How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Isaiah 14:12-15
The Sin of Religious Pride
Now pride is damaging enough by itself, but religious pride brings God's wrath to a whole new level. Religious pride is by definition the most hated sin on God's list. The primary and ultimate example of how God feels about religious pride is that of Jesus and his contest with the Pharisees. Read through Matthew 23 and get a feel for the animosity Jesus felt for those that ruled and taught out of Herod's temple there in Jerusalem.
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Matthew 23:13
The Romans knowing the nature of the Jewish culture and religion knew they could not be ruled as part of the Roman empire without a theocratic overlay. There would simply be no way to rule in Jerusalem without the illusion of the Temple duties and vestiges of the Jewish religion. The religious cooperation in Jerusalem made it possible for Rome to rule there. As a result Rome gave the religious class power and civil authority as co-rulers in an attempt to keep peace inside the boundaries of Israel.
The Pharisees and Sadducees were religious groups that believed themselves to be the supreme authority on the Torah and Books of the Prophets. They esteemed one another as God's viceroy in Israel at the time Jesus walked the Earth. It was them that Jesus leveled untold amounts of animosity and outright curses at. We never see Jesus talking to the common folk or even the Romans in such a way in scripture. No, only the religious class were vehemently lambasted by Jesus. Why is this? Because religious pride is hideous to the Lord. God hates the hypocritical nature of religious tyrants. Nothing pushes people away from God more than pompous authoritarians that believe themselves to be God's voice and will in this world. Taking on the Sin of Pride is to thoroughly submit yourself to the domain of Satan himself, he being the fount of pride within creation.
The Fruit of Religious Tyrants
Religious pride, begets religious tyrants. It is especially disgusting because it causes people to embellish everything in a guise of mock piety, with the intent to impress on people your ideas about God. It is all about control when you cross over to the dark-side of religion. Here is a list of the rotten spiritual fruit that religious pride produces.

- Spiritual Competiveness
- Disregard for Other's Personal Boundaries and Privacy
- Constant Criticism

Conclusion
People who are verbatim like this in thought, word and deed need to know they are modern day Pharisees, detestable before God for their prideful, spiritual arrogance.
Jesus came to give liberty to all, free to work out their salvation by the application of the written scripture on their lives and also through the personal, private, convicting work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26
Nowhere in that equation, is there room for a pompous, presumptive know it all, who thinks they can give you spiritual advise better than these two Godly instruments. Sure there are teachers and mentors but at the end of the day they are all blind guides of the blind compared to God's spiritual, internal conviction. Jesus hated religious tyrants. He ate with prostitutes, politicians, and sinners of all types and never once condemned them for their sin. He only told them to repent and turn their hearts towards God. Only the Pharisees where confronted and called out for their hypocrisy. Jesus knows the hearts of spiritual tyrants, they in His opinion were irredeemable. As result of their rejection of God, His convicting Holy Spirit and even Jesus himself, in 70 AD God destroyed the Temple, Jerusalem, the Pharisees and the entirety of the Jewish culture and religion. The wrath God brought down on the religious institution and the Pharisees was like nothing any culture had experienced up to that point.
The real reason God hates the sin of Religious Pride so much is because people who take on those traits disregard what God is doing in another's life and make themselves the voice of the Holy Spirit, condemning and judging others based on their own often faulty interpretation of scripture. It is vileness and hated by God, nothing gives people a right to dictate into others lives as if they are the voice of God. These people are usurpers and false prophets and will reap the rewards of the Pharisees in their lives, stay away from them lest you be counted among their sin and subject to God's wrath as a result. Remove them from fellowships, chastise them, and do whatever is necessary to limit their negativity and manipulative games from your life. They are no good to you until they repent of the sin of pride, and their religious spiritual manipulation. If you have someone controlling you through spiritual manipulation then get advice and outside opinions from trusted individuals, that is if you value your peace and sanity. Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. Proverbs 13:10
God hates this behavior because let's face it, it is their hypocritical nasty, nosy, snobbish nature that drives people away from God's love.
