Prophecy Obsessed Evangelical Leaders Panic over Trump’s Syria Decision

By Jason Charles on 10/23/2019 (4 years 158 days ago) War, Military, & Intelligence

The Huffington Post always critical of Evangelicals and Trump, pounced on statements made by Franklin Graham, Pat Robertson, John Hagee’s and others denouncing his Syria Decision to remove U.S. troops from N. Syria.

“White evangelical Christians have long been some of President Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters. But the president’s recent decision to effectively abandon Kurdish fighters, considered key allies in the fight against the so-called Islamic State, appears to have caused a fracturing in this powerful religious group.

The president’s decision to withdraw roughly 1,000 U.S. troops in northern Syria has already contributed to chaos in the region…Turkey’s offensive has displaced at least 130,000 people, the United Nations reported Sunday.” (Huffington Post)

    ...

The fact that even leaders who are usually steadfast allies to the president are speaking out publicly now is an indication of how crucial the issue is for this group.

Franklin Graham, son of the famous late evangelist Billy Graham, encouraged his substantial Twitter following last week to “pray w/me” that Trump would reconsider the move, because “thousands of lives hang in the balance.”

The televangelist Pat Robertson, CBN’s founder, went so far as to warn that Trump was “in danger of losing the mandate of heaven.” CBN has been covering the crisis extensively on its news website, including with commentary alleging that “Kurds are the evangelicals of the Muslim World.” (Huffington Post)

CBN Pat Robertson, always the fool, equates the removal of U.S. troops from the region as the loss of the support of God Himself with his “mandate of heaven” comment.

Then of course Hagee had to chime in and regurgitate Evangelical talking points as Chairman of the CUFI cult,

"The Kurds share Western values and have been stalwart defenders of the rights of religious minorities. In stark contrast to this, Turkey has a dark history in this context," John Hagee, a conservative evangelical pastor, longtime Trump supporter and chairman of Christians United for Israel, warned in an email. (Associated Press)

These men act so concerned about these Christian communities among the Kurds, well where is their outrage for the senseless persecution of Christians in China? Or how about the unyielding violence leveled at Christian Palestinians living in Israel? That’s right, fake crocodile tears by the pulpit pimps labeled “Trump's Spiritual Advisors.”

These poor excuses for Christian leaders, only have one thing in mind, and that is the unGodly, unapologetic, rabid support of Israeli interests in the region, which include the Kurds going back for decades.

    All for Israel

Israel had been funding the Kurds as a destabilizing, proxy army against Iraq, Syria and Iran in the region since the late 50’s. Up till that time, the U.S. never involved themselves with the perpetual border disputes and fighting, and maintained as a policy to keep-out of the region.

The U.S. only got involved with Kurdish forces because of Henry Kissinger and Nixon were convinced by Israel of its strategic importance as reported in 1977 by the New York Times,

“Accordingly, the Shah asked Mr. Nixon In Teheran in 1972 to join him in supporting the Kurdish uprising. Since it was in the American and Israeli interest to tie up a radical Arab army in Iraq, the United States President agreed.” (New York Times, 1977)

A recent article in the Foreign Policy journal details the nightmare the Kurdish people have had to endure since WWI and the collapse of Ottoman Empire, I suggest everyone reads it in its entirety.

Nothing but ongoing betrayal, every time the Kurds have succumb to U.S. or Israeli promises of support, all ended in misery and death,

This tragic end of the American intervention to support the Kurds would mark the beginning of the back-and-forth relationship between the United States and the Kurds that still exists today. Thousands of Kurds in Iraq lost their lives after the United States, Iran, and Israel rescinded their support in 1975. In the 1980s, the Kurds and the United States found themselves on opposite sides of the Iran-Iraq War, which saw Saddam regularly using chemical weapons against both Iran and the Kurds and led to widespread genocide in Iraqi Kurdistan. The tides would turn again in the early 1990s. After Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, the United States urged the Kurds to revolt against Saddam’s government, only for the George H.W. Bush administration to abandon them in their time of need. In April 1991, the White House realized its mistake and implemented Operation Provide Comfort, which established a no-fly zone over northern Iraq and allowed the Iraqi Kurds to finally live in peace. In 1992, the Iraqi Kurds established the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government, which became an indispensable American ally during the Iraq War and the war against the Islamic State.

It seemed that the United States had finally righted the wrong that it inflicted in 1975—until now. But even this latest betrayal shouldn’t come as a shock. It’s entirely consistent with the interests toward the Kurds that the United States has privately described from the very beginning. (Foreign Policy Journal)

So, much of what the Kurdish people have had to endure is because of Israel and its forced presence in the region.

    Conclusion

This is what the Huffington Post completely missed about Evangelical leaders and their feigned support for the Kurdish Christians. The Huffington Post only pointed out the Evangelical/Trump dissent and failed to point out the Christian Zionist angle only because they are a communist rag, needing of Zionist funding themselves.

So called “Evangelical Leaders” only serve to echo the sentiments and ambitions of Israel in the ears of the President.

Now, as the cease fire dissolves and Putin’s promise to help what can we expect?

Turkey and Russia have agreed what they called a "historic" deal aimed at keeping Kurdish forces away from Syria's border with Turkey.

Turkey this month launched an offensive to drive out the Kurdish forces from their southern frontier and create a buffer zone.

Russia is an ally of Syria's Bashar al-Assad and has raised concern about foreign interference in Syria.

Turkey and Russia will now conduct joint patrols on the border.

The deal comes after the US announced a sudden and unexpected withdrawal and analysts see it as cementing Turkish and Russian influence in the region. (BBC)

Who knows, will Turkey and Russia seamlessly cooperate in their border patrol efforts, and Kurds stop fighting Turkey? Will Israel stand on the sidelines? Or will they begin to fund and embolden the Kurds like they have so many times in the past? Only this time, Turkey is said to have kidnapped 50 U.S. stationed nuclear missiles, and Erdogan is desirous of obtaining nuclear munitions for himself,

“Officials are reviewing plans to evacuate up to 50 U.S. nuclear bombs that have long been stored at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey in the wake of Ankara's military offensive in northern Syria, according to a report.

The weapons are now essentially being held "hostage" by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a senior official told The New York Times on Monday.

The Cold War-era B61 nuclear bombs are said to be located 100-250 miles from the Syrian border, according to The Guardian. A former U.S. official told the outlet that Turkish diplomats responded to suggestions about moving the bombs by saying Turkey would start to develop its own.” (FOX News)

Truly it is craziness in the Middle East, why? Israel.

A pattern of abuses unfolds, fanning out from Israel from North to South, East and West and nothing makes that more clear than the plight of the Kurds as Zionist henchmen.

You would think Christian Zionist, with all of their speculative, prophetic obsession would love the news coming out of Turkey and Russia. I can see them now positioning all their verses on their dispensational prophetic timelines and charts like chess pieces. Making grandiose statements concerning Gog and Magog, and the inevitable battle between Israel. I can hear the best-sellers being written now. So, if nothing else comes of this news a bunch of Christian prophecy peddlers will make millions with the false allegories and illustrations laid out in their upcoming books.

This speaks to the real reason why Evangelical Leaders are so bent out of shape over this Trump decision, it is because America is supposed to be the ally of Israel, the wonderful protector that will miraculously come to the defense against the mighty Gog and Magog of End Times prophecy. That is the narrative they have been selling us for decades. But with Trump supposedly pulling troops out, it is seen as an abandonment of Israel, which throws all of their precious timelines into disarray. You can sense the panic in these leaders voices, their little minds can’t fathom a world that doesn’t fit their prophetic models.

I personally think this is just Trump and the Zionists positioning for larger wars in the region, destabilizing Muslim nations in border wars always benefits Israel, and is exactly why they have been using the Kurds for so long. To think Trump would make a move like this without consulting Israel is naive.

"Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken? Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God." - Ezekiel 13: 3-8

    You Too Can Be Saved

Salvation is submission to the authority of our Creator God. To be saved simply call upon the name of Jesus. Ask Him to lead, guide and direct you to a full knowledge of who He is, and who you are in Him.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13
